Viva L'Italia Choir Evolution
Although the Viva l'Italia Choir started in 2011 as a way to celebrate Italy's anniversary as a nation, its primary intent and focus was and continues to be the promotion of the Italian culture through music. The choir's aim is to share the music and culture of Italy with the community no matter the origin of the choir members or the audience. As the pictures on this page show, the choir, over the years, has shared its love for music with a variety of communities, such as the Chinese, Ukrainians, Polish and extending to the sporting community, to the aged, and other community groups.
The Choir's main goal is to foster cultural exchanges in the spirit of co-operation in a fun and enjoyable environment. The Italian Canadian Foundation (ICFM) is proud to be a longtime sponsor of the VIC choir. If you love music and wish to have fun singing, and learning Italian in the process, please consider joining this choir. We are always looking for new members. Reach out to us. You will not be disappointed.
